Although Palantrix puts every effort into verifying companies advertising on it’s platform all online companies are susceptible to occasional scams. To help you conduct a safer job search we have added some security tips below to help ensure that you enjoy using our platform in a secure and safe manner.

As Palantrix Job Search is free to candidates, you should NEVER provide credit card or bank details on our site unless signing up to the Learning Centre. We will NEVER email you asking for financial information.

Privacy Details

Palantrix will only show your full first name and surname to employers is they have signed up to a paid plan on our platform and if they have requested access to your video interview. We will ONLY show them the following information:

We will not show your email address, mobile number, or contact information.

Exclusions

You have the ability as a candidate to exclude certain companies like a current employer from viewing your profile on our site. This can be set up when you are creating your profile OR in the Settings.

Confidential Resume

Use Palantrix for interview preparation and choose to keep your profile private until you are ready to submit an interview for a job opportunity. Using this option will prevent Employers from being able to search your profile however you will still be able to apply to individual roles and opportunities. If you submit to these Employers, then you consent for your first name and surname will be visible along with your resume and interview.

Beware of Scams like some Work from Home jobs

This differs from a flexible work policy from legitimate companies. Beware of promises of making large amounts of money working from home. Be very wary of companies that ask for upfront payments to purchase stock or buy-in’s as part of their onboarding. Employers should PAY YOU and not the other way around. It also pays to examine the economics, the compliance or legality of an “opportunity”. For example, accessing sensitive medical or financial data without proper training, compliance or security measures should raise red flags. To assist with evaluating the opportunity don’t be afraid to ask the following questions:
